We stand by committing to pledging 20% of our profits to noble causes across the world. For full transparency we will provide receipts for our donations below.

Between April - July 2023 we were not able to make any donations due to not being able to generate any profits on the running of the pool. From August onwards we will be looking at making out of cost donations to causes to show our commitment to our pledge whilst we aim to grow the pool once again.

March 2023 - Fare Share - $25.77 (£21.50) Donated

For this month we donated $25.77(£21.50) to FareShare

FareShare believes that no good food should go to waste. They help redistribute surplus food to charities, helping communities and changing lives. They have provided 5.7 tonnes of food per charity per year and over 130 million meals worth of food to vulnerable people.

February 2023 - Disasters Emergency Committee - $83.83 (£70) Donated

3rd March 2023

For this month we donated $89.83 (£70) to The Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal

As this was covered by global media, 50,000 people died and 18, 000,000 people were affected by the Turkey Syria Earthquake in February with no warning sign. The Disasters Emergency Committee were among the first responders providing aid, healthcare, shelter, warmth and food. Our donation has helped provide emergency shelter for two families and more provisions during this trying time for the families affected by this disaster

January 2023 - Alzheimer's Society - $48.62 (£40.51) Donated

For this month we donated $48.62 (40.51) to Alzheimer's Society

Alzheimer's Society are working to support and be a force for change for people affected by dementia. Their supporters ensure that people living with dementia have the right care and have their rights protected. Over the last 12 months they have helped 92000 people access over the phone or face to face support and helped 54 000 calls to combat loneliness. Our donation is just a small part of this.

December 2022 - Young Minds - $48.62 (£40.51) Donated

For this month we donated $48.62 (40.51) to Young Minds

Young Minds are a UK Charity helping young people with their mental health through various support initiatives. They believe that the earlier young people access the right help, they are more likely to avoid mental health crises. Their three programmes are helping young people look after their own mental health, making sure they have adults around them who can help and are building a youth movement of support for everyone

November 2022 - The Trussell Trust Stop UK Hunger - $46.82 (£38.45) Donated

For this month we donated $46.82 (£38.45) to the Trussell Trust -Stop UK Hunger

The Trussell Trust supports nationwide foodbanks and provides nutritionally-balanced emergency food and support to communities in poverty. This donation will help provide aid in their Emergency Fund Appeal which is helping to meet the increased need on food banks due to the challenging winter. This donation can help provide emergency food, hot water bottles and essential toiletries for a person in financial crisis.

October 2022 - Crisis UK- $130.22 (£113.51) Donated

For this month we donated $130.22 (£113.51) to the Crisis

Crisis is working to end homelessness and protect this basic human need for over 230,000 people in Britain. They do this through education and training with housing, employment and health. They also help homeless people find and keep a rented home, by working with landlords and giving homeless people the knowledge they need to rent successfully.

September 2022 - Cardiff Foodbank- $148.08 (£131.16) Donated

20th October 2022

For this month we donated $148.08 (£131.16) to the Cardiff Food Bank

This month we went and bought essential supplies such as food items, toiletries, baby essentials and we delivered them to the Cardiff Food Bank. Our donation weighed in at 85kg which is roughly the equivalent of seven 3-day emergency food parcels for one person, or 67 meals.

August 2022 - Cool Earth- $165.75 (£144) Donated

05th September 2022

For this month we donated $165.75 (£144) to Cool Earth

This donation will help protect the worlds rainforests and the communities that live there. Cool earth aims to fund projects that create choice and target root causes of deforestation. Their work currently focuses on the Amazon, Congo and New Guinea Rainforests.

July 2022 - UNICEF - $195.77 (£162) Donated

08th August 2022

For this month we donated $195.77 (£162) to UNICEF This donation will help protect children in Ukraine as a result of the ongoing war. 7.5 million children have been deeply affected by the ongoing conflict. Homes, schools, water supplies and hospitals have been damaged or destroyed. Children have been separated from their families, and hundreds of thousands of people have been left without clean water, food or electricity. Explosives are a daily threat to children’s lives. Unicef are working in Ukraine and at the borders of neighbouring countries, providing access to clean water, health care services and other critical support.

June 2022 - Shelter UK - $142.78 (£120) Donated

For this month we donated $142.78 (£120) to Shelter UK. This donation will help people in need defend the right to a safe home. Because home is everything.

May 2022 - British Heart Foundation - $141.03 (£118.54) Donated

12th July 2022

For this month we donated $141.03 (£118.54) to the British Heart Foundation. This will help the development of stem-cell coated plasters to 3D printed hearts, every donation is going towards the next lifesaving breakthrough.

March 2022 - Marie Curie - $140.29 (£117.79) Donated

12th July 2022

This month we donated $140.29 (£117.79) to Marie Curie. This donation will aid end of life care for people across the UK.

February 2022 - Make A Wish Foundation -$253.26 (£187) Donated

This donation will help create life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

January 2022 - Tonga Volcano & Tsunami Relief Fund -$253.26 (£187) Donated

February 15th 2022

This month we donated $253.26 (£187) Donated to the Tonga Volcano & Tsunami Relief Fund. This will fund the emergency response and recovery post the volcano and tsunami with provisions of food, fuel, water, medicine and shelter

November 2021 - Giraffe Conservation Foundation & Ocean Generation - $896.82 (£675.57) Donated

This month we donated $448.41 (£337.79) to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation & $448.41 (£337.79) to Ocean Generation.

This was a first for Rise in having the community select two causes for November.

The Giraffe Conservation Foundation is an international organisation that is providing innovative approaches to save Giraffes in the wild.

Ocean Generation are working to empower a global movement to tackle Ocean threats through science and intelligence

This month we donated $1127.53 (£836.52) to Dementia UK. Dementia UK is working to provide nursing support, clinics and digital content for families who are suffering from progressive neurological disorders affecting the brain.

September 2021 - MS Society - $1410.85 Donated

September 30th 2021

This month we donated $1410 to MS Society The MS Society helps people who are suffering from Multiple sclerosis, a neurological condition that can issues in a persons vision, balance, memory and thinking and emotions. The MS Society is also helping to fund research that is trying to stop MS for good

August 2021 - One Tree Planted - $1500 Donated

September 8th 2021

This month we donated $1500 to One Tree Planted Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity
We have supported this initiative by planting 1500 Trees in British Columbia through this organisation.
